Kevin I. Perry, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Senior Associate Consultant of Adult Reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr. Perry completed his adult hip and knee reconstruction fellowship at London Health Sciences Centre in London, Ontario. Dr. Perry completed his internship and residency at the Mayo Clinic, where he served as a chief resident and received the Chief Resident Outstanding Clinician Award. In addition, he received his MSc in Surgery from the University of Western Ontario.
His research interests center on clinically relevant pathologies, keeping in mind the functional impact on patients, metal reactions, and deep periprosthetic infections. Dr. Abdel currently serves on the Editorial Boards of the Bone and Joint Journal 360 (BJJ 360) and he is a reviewer for the Bone and Joint Journal and the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (JAAOS).
